Bandonion4Friends is a non-profit association for the promotion of art and culture, with regard to the preservation, maintenance and revitalization of the bandonion worldwide. Since 2009, the Argentine Tango is a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The bandonion and the tango are inseparable, therefore musical education as well as traditional customs shall be in the foreground of the association.

What we do

The non-profit association buys instruments for children, youth and adults, which are lent to conservatories, music schools, music students and teachers. We make the instruments available internationally. This is to bring the bandonion back into the music culture at home and abroad and to make it known, to introduce children to the instrument and to encourage schools to establish bandonion classes.

We participate in events, concerts, workshops at home and abroad to realize national and international networking in realizing the purpose of the association.

We organize supporting materials for teaching, such as sheet music, reference books and teaching materials for methodology and instruction.

We support the exchange of national and international associations, organizations to promote funding opportunities.
